Leasing a car also involves rules. Below is some explanation about lending out your lease car:
Who is allowed to drive my lease car?
When you enter into a lease contract, you also sign for it. This allows you to drive the car, but basically anyone with a valid driving licence can drive the car. The car is insured as usual. Even if it is damaged by another driver in the lease car. Or if there is a fine caused during the period that you have lent out the car. So make clear agreements in advance before you lend out the lease car. This avoids unpleasant situations afterwards. That way you are jointly responsible for the lease car. You can request this from your leasing company.
This applies to Private lease, Financial lease and Operational lease.
