SEBA grant pot 2024 is now available!

Good news for all entrepreneurs considering buying an electric commercial vehicle! On 9 April, the Senate approved the SEBA budget for 2024, which means that the subsidy scheme for zero-emission company cars will restart. This is your chance to receive up to €5,000 subsidy on a new electric company car.

What does the SEBA subsidy entail?

The Emission-Free Company Cars Subsidy Scheme (SEBA) provides financial support to companies opting for a new electric company car. For 2024, the subsidy amount is set at 7% of the new car's price, with a maximum of €5,000.

Note:This scheme only applies to new, not yet registered electric vehicles of categories N1 and N2 (up to 4,250 kg), intended for goods transport. Passenger transport is excluded from this scheme.

How to apply for the SEBA subsidy?

Conditions for receiving the SEBA subsidy

To be eligible for the SEBA subsidy, you must meet the following conditions:

-           You buy or lease a new electric company car with a minimum purchase value of €20.000.

-           The company car must be fully electric. Hybrid vehicles are not eligible for this scheme.

-           The vehicle must fall under vehicle code N1 or N2 up to 4,250 kg and may only be used for goods transport.

-           The electric commercial vehicle must have a range of at least 100 kilometres and must not contain a leaded battery pack.

-           The van must have been registered in your name for at least 3 years.
